Hoya Curtisii is a delightful trailinghouseplantwith densely packed small green leaves. The leaves are blade-shaped and filled with interesting silver-blue variegated speckles. Hoya Curtisiiare, native to the tropical Southeast Asia region, is one of the easiest to care for plants.
Hoya Curtisii has greyish trailing vines that spread freely and can reach up to 20" in length. This plant grows smaller than some other Hoyas and does not take much space. It looks perfect for both tall planters and hanging baskets.
Hoya Curtisii has light pink flowers with a citrus smell. Direct sunlight can encourage blooming.
Hoya Curtisii needs a lot of bright indirect sunlight. It can tolerate some direct morning sun, but the afternoon scorching sun might burn its leaves. If grown indoors, put it near a bright, sunny window where it can enjoy some hours of the morning sun and some shade in the afternoon.
This plant is slightly drought-tolerant and does not need frequent watering. Check the soil weekly and water only when the soil is almost dry. Soggy wet soil can cause root rot. Reduce watering in the winter. Ensure a medium humidity level (around 50-60%) using misting, pebble trays, and humidifiers.
Hoya thrives in temperatures of 60°F-80°F. It is vital to ensure the room temperature does not fall below 50°F.
Hoya should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer)with diluted houseplant fertilizer once a month.
Hoya Curtisii is generally non-toxic, but it is still recommended that you keep this plant out of reach of pets and children as their trailing vines are fragile.

When you purchase online, your plants have to go through lots of stress while traveling so they may need a few days to adjust to their new environment and thrive. If your plant does not perk back up after a few days of care, let us know and we will send replacements free of charge. Remember that we always try our best to accommodate you.
It’s advised that you should repot the plant as soon as you get it. After repotting, your new houseplant will most likely struggle with transplant shock. It may appear droopy, faded, or have a slower growth rate than usual during this time. This is completely normal, and it’s also normal for transplant shock to hit especially hard after repotting a brand-new houseplant. To make sure your plant has plenty of time to adjust to its new surroundings, wait a day after potting and water your plant. Make sure any excess water drains completely from the pot afterward. Monitor your soil’s moisture levels daily to start creating a watering routine. To help perk up your new houseplant, we recommend adding a little water-soluble fertilizer, compost, or sugar water to your soil to boost its nutrients and help it grow.
